Recommended Hoop Size: 13x18 cm / 5x7 inch

If you are using a 10x10 cm / 4x4 inch hoop, the corresponding embroidery file does not include the ITH sewing.

Step 1

Hoop your fabric, together with either tear-away or cut-away stabilizer. Do not hoop wash-away stabilizer for applique. Pay attention that the fabric nap is facing in the correct direction!

Step 2

Float the wash away stabilizer on top of the fabric. You can keep it in place with pins or tape.

Start with the Fur A applique. Embroider the Position Guide Line and carefully remove the wash-away stabilizer after.

Step 4

Cover thePosition Guide Line with the pink fabric for the spots, right side of the fabric facing up. Pay attention that the fabric nap is facing in the correct direction again! Put wash away stabilizer on top and embroider the Applique Cutting Guide Line.

Remove the hoop from the embroidery machine. Remove the wash away stabilizer. Carefully trim the fabric as close to the Applique Cutting Guide Line as possible. Make sure that you do not pull the fabric out of place even the slightest while cutting.

Put the hoop back into the embroidery machine, add wash away stabilizer and embroider the Satin Stitch!

Step 7

Remove the wash away stabilizer, then cover the applique with anoter piece of black fabric such that the right side is facing downwards. Make sure that the fabric nap is facing in the correct direction! Then, embroider the Neck Fur Seam.

If you are using a 10x10cm / 4x4inch hoop, align and trace the Fur A piece around the applique using the corresponding pattern piece. Trace another one with the printed side facing down without applique. Then sew them together manually along the Mirror Seams ||.

Step 8

Repeat all steps above for the Fur B applique.

Step 9

Unhoop the fabric and trim the seam allowance. To ensure that the Neck Fur turns nicely, carefully cut into all inner corners and trim off all outer corners.

Step 10

Neck Fur Applique Step 10A image

Use the paper pattern pieces to draw on the missing seam lines on both sides of the Neck Fur pieces.
